petite alma Here at petite alma we are always stumbling across new ideas and products from others we admire. So when we come across something that inspires and delights us, rather than keeping it to ourselves we thought we'd share these stylish little treasures with you.
I first discovered the photographs of Philip Newton when I received a Flora and Henri catalog. I remember being captivated by the photos. I do think Flora and Henri does a wonderful job of styling and dressing children, but those photos, ahhhh, they are what made the catalog. Click here to view Philip Newton's work.
I'm crazy about what Mickey Drexler has done with J. Crew. The man's a genius. When I designed for babyGap, he was in charge, and now, he has reinvented J. Crew not only for men and women, but also for children. His vintage men's store in Tribeca (housed in a rugged old bar) is sensational, as is the uptown women's store on Madison. Great combination of classic, affordable J. Crew and the new and well, not so affordable, luxury pieces. Bravo. Click here to visit the J. Crew site.
I discovered Ketiketa at the NY Bubble show last week. It is a French line specializing in clothing, pajamas and accessories for children up to age 8. The simple silhouettes are made from traditional Nepalese fabric which is block printed to create sweet, unique prints. Click here to visit the Ketiketa site.
